SasquatchParts Heavy Duty Silicone Intercooler Hose Kit for 2016-2022 Colorado/Canyon 2.8L Duramax

The factory hoses are labelled “Made in China”. They are very low quality and were designed to be as low-cost as possible. We’ve had numerous reports of split hoses over the years, and until now the only solution was to replace the part with the same poor quality factory component. On top of that, the factory hoses are only sold bundled along with sensors and the metal and plastic sections of the system. This means they cost a lot more than they should to replace and wastes parts that are perfectly functional.

Unlike so many companies these days, we choose the highest quality suppliers, components and materials available. And we do everything we can to utilize American-made components and materials, even down to our product packaging and boxes. Sasquatch Adapters and Retainer Clips are machined in Minnesota, USA. Sasquatch Hoses are handmade for us by Samco in Britain, the world leader in performance silicone hoses. And we source our OE-quality silicone-specific hose clamps from Germany.

• Norma stainless steel silicone hose clamps with rolled edges (Made in Germany)

This is a full 5-hose kit (including the turbo inlet elbow hose) to replace all the hoses in the system from turbocharger to intake manifold. The silicone is manufactured by hand exclusively for us by Samco Sport in the UK, the world leader in performance silicone. They are fluorolined inside for oil resistance. New OE-quality silicone-specific hose clamps are included.

The kit eliminates the (2) quick connect clamps, which are a failure point just as they are on other vehicle models using similar clamps like Sprinter vans and many Volkswagen models. Our custom CNC aluminum intercooler adapters with Viton O-ring have been engineered to hold more pressure than the factory quick connect clamps, and are machined right here in Minnesota. We include brand new stainless steel retainer clips (Made in USA) so that you don’t need to re-use the factory clips, which requires breaking your factory hoses.

To ensure quality and performance, we had a 3rd party engineering firm conduct an independent design review and lab test of our hoses and adapters against the factory setup and you can read the full results at the bottom of the page. The factory hoses ballooned significantly even at low pressures. When pressure reached 50 psi, testing had to be halted due to excessive ballooning. The Sasquatch setup is rated for 90+ psi.
