We offer three different intercooler hose kits: Choose from the 2-piece kit, the 3-hose kit, or the 5-piece kit.

The 5-piece hose kit replaces all of the silicone hose connectors in the intercooler system, including the turbocharger air inlet connector. The 2-piece kit replaces just the primary inlet/outlet hoses that connect to the intercooler which are the ones that most commonly fail. And the 3-piece kit is available as an upgrade for our 2-piece kit, giving you a full 5-piece intercooler hose kit.

Factory Hoses Fail due to Oil Mist

The 2.8L Duramax engine found in the 2015+ Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon has an oil mist problem. Significant amounts of oil vapors (which also include water, raw diesel fuel, abrasive particulate matter and other contaminates) make their way from the crankcase into the intercooler hoses where it accumulates. Over time, this sludge will rot out the factory hoses and eventually they will split open and fail catastrophically, leading to a potentially unsafe situation, significant repair costs and inconvenience.

Sasquatch Hoses by Samco utilize a high performance fluoroline coating on the inside of the hoses that prevent the hoses from deteriorating over time due to exposure to oil vapors.

Sasquatch Hoses are Heavy Duty, Engineered and Tested

The factory hoses are incredibly flimsy. Their design was optimized for low cost–not performance or durability. The factory hoses are known to leak and fail prematurely. Replacement parts will only fail again in the future, after enough time has passed for the hoses to deteriorate again.

Sasquatch Hoses by Samco are designed to outperform and outlast the factory hoses. Our hoses have been engineered, 3rd party lab tested and are rated to 90 psi. They are also real-world tested in Minnesota’s harsh winter (-20F) and summer (100+F) climate conditions. We take the extra time and spend the extra money to get things right: because it’s the right thing to do. After all, the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Sasquatch Hoses are Manufactured in Europe

The factory hoses are labelled “Made in China”. They are very low quality and were designed to be as low-cost as possible. We’ve had numerous reports of split hoses over the years, and until now the only solution was to replace the part with the same poor quality factory component. On top of that, the factory hoses are only sold bundled along with sensors and the metal and plastic sections of the system. This means they cost a lot more than they should to replace and wastes parts that are perfectly functional.

Unlike so many companies these days, we choose the highest quality suppliers, components and materials available. And we do everything we can to utilize American-made components and materials, even down to our product packaging and boxes. Sasquatch Hoses are handmade for us by Samco in Britain, the world leader in performance silicone hoses. And we source our OE-quality silicone-specific hose clamps from Germany.

This is a 3-hose kit to turn a 2-piece kit into a full 5-piece kit. GM is often out of stock of the interior factory components. The silicone is manufactured by hand exclusively for us by Samco Sport in the UK, the world leader in performance silicone. They are fluorolined inside for oil resistance. New OE-quality silicone-specific hose clamps are included.

To ensure quality and performance, we had a 3rd party engineering firm conduct an independent design review and lab test of our hoses and adapters against the factory setup and you can read the full results at the bottom of the page. The factory hoses ballooned significantly even at low pressures. When pressure reached 50 psi, testing had to be halted due to excessive ballooning. The Sasquatch setup is rated for 90+ psi.
