This kit is for those that want to add auxiliary lights and control them with a single OE switch.

• • Single Button Function: Auxiliary lights (On/Off)

This kit is designed to turn the lights on by pressing the center of the headlight switch once and to turn the lights off you press it again. This kit is designed to use an OE style headlight switch to power the coil on an aftermarket relay (not included). This kit bypasses the BCM and does not have a low power failsafe (if they are left on) and has no way of indicating that the system is on, it will not display the OEM light indicator on the dash cluster. The system has 3 connections: 12v power, ground, and connection to the positive coil side of a relay.

Fitment: 2015-2022 Chevrolet Colorado / GMC Canyon  (without factory fog lights: WT, ZR2, etc.)

Dual Channel Auxiliary Light Switch Kit (Without Factory Fog Lights)

This kit is for those that want to add two auxiliary circuits and control them both with a single OE switch.

• • Left Button Function: Auxiliary Circuit #1 (On/Off)
  • Right Button Function: Auxiliary Circuit #2 (On/Off)

This kit is designed to control one channel/relay with the left button and a second channel/relay with the right button. This kit is designed to use an OE style headlight switch to power the coils of (2) separate aftermarket relays (not included). This kit bypasses the BCM and does not have a low power failsafe (if they are left on) and has no way of indicating that the system is on, it will not display the OEM light indicator on the dash cluster. The system has 4 connections: 12v power, ground, and (2) connections to the positive coil side of a relay.

This kit is for those that want to keep their factory installed fog lights operating like normal but also want to add a set of auxiliary lights and control both with a single OE switch.

• • Left Button Function: OEM fog light operation controlled by the BCM, works just like your single button switch.
  • Right Button Function: Auxiliary lights (On/Off)

This kit is designed to allow use of your factory fog light operation along with an addition auxiliary light control. Your factory fog light control (left button) works exactly as your single button switch you currently have. The auxiliary control (right Button) bypasses the BCM and does not have a low power failsafe (if they are left on) and has no way of indicating that the system is on, it will not display any OEM light indicators on the dash cluster.

The auxiliary control has only three connections: 12v power, ground, and connection to the positive coil side of an aftermarket relay. All three connections are only for the auxiliary circuit (right button) the factory fog light control will not change its factory operation. Once installed you can turn the auxiliary circuit on by pressing the right button of the headlight switch once and to turn the lights off you press it again.

This kit is for those that have OE Sports Bar Lights but want to add additional auxiliary lights without changing the OEM Sports Bar lights operation, and control both with a single OE switch.

• • Left Button Function: Auxiliary lights (On/Off)
  • Right Button Function: OEM Sports Bar operation, works as your original single button switch but without the red ring operation if equipped.

This kit is designed to allow use of your OEM Sports Bar lights operation along with an addition auxiliary light control. Your OEM Sports Bar lights control (Right Button) works exactly as your single button switch you currently have. The auxiliary control (Left Button) bypasses the BCM and does not have a low power failsafe (if they are left on) and has no way of indicating that the system is on, it will not display any OEM light indicators on the dash cluster.

The auxiliary control has only three connections: 12v power, ground, and connection to the positive coil side of an aftermarket relay. All three connections are only for the auxiliary circuit (Left Button) the factory fog light control will not change its factory operation. Once installed you can turn the auxiliary circuit on by pressing the right button of the headlight switch once and to turn the lights off you press it again.

Please note that the SCAL-SB kit is NOT designed to retrofit OEM Sport Bar Lights to a truck that doesn’t already have that option from the dealership or factory. The SCAL-SB kit is designed to add a second circuit in addition to a truck with pre-existing factory sport bar lights that were installed from the dealership or factory.
